Notes for a book I will write someday….

If you told me 9 years ago how being a photographer would transform my life, I SURELY would not have believed you…

I often feel most present, aware of my breath, open to the pulse of relationship and “clear” when documenting a story. I feel the dance of life and it moves me beyond words or even tangible forms. At some point, photography became part of my meditation.

Soon afterward, the art forced me to put the camera down and seek clarity w/o the aid of machines or external filters. This journey is one, I’d never truly envisioned until I became a photographer.
